SAFES AND VAULTS IN YAKIMA, WA
Safes and vaults in Yakima, sold, serviced and moved
Sales and service at the shop on Nob Hill, plus safe moving and installing with our own van and flatbed trailer.
Chapter 01
Safes sold and serviced at the shop
The lettering on the shop's van says it plainly: Safes & Vaults, Sales & Service. Yakima Lock & Safe sells safes and works on them, and the shop at 715 W Nob Hill Blvd is a walk-in, so you can come by and talk about what you want to protect before you buy anything.
We're also able to work on safes of all sizes and types. If you already own one that has stopped behaving, call (509) 248-1124 and describe what it's doing. The office will tell you what can be done upfront, and the owner has worked as a locksmith in Yakima for over three decades.

Moving and installing heavy safes
Moving a safe is a different job from selling one. The shop lists it as Move And Install Safes, and it does the work with its own van and a flatbed trailer. A photo from the shop's Facebook page shows exactly that: three heavy safes strapped down on the trailer at a customer's new house.
To arrange a move, call the shop at (509) 248-1124. Tell the office where the safe is now and where it needs to end up in the Yakima area. Heavy things tend to go wrong in doorways and on steps, so it helps to describe both ends of the trip.
Chapter 03
Combinations changed, and a safe that won't open
A combination changed after an employee leaves, or after the number has been shared more widely than it should have been, is ordinary locksmith work. Combinations Changed is on the shop's own list of services, and the same bench that handles building locks handles safes.
A safe that won't open is a different kind of call, and every one is different. Phone the shop, describe the safe and what happened, and the office will say what can be done. We won't promise an outcome over the phone, because we'd rather look at the safe first.

Safe moves
How a safe move goes
Step one
Call the shop
Ring (509) 248-1124 and say you have a safe to move or install. The office will ask what you're working with and where it's going.
Step two
Describe both ends
Where the safe sits now, where it needs to go, and what's between the two. Stairs, doorways and tight turns are worth mentioning up front.
Step three
The van and trailer take over
The shop moves and installs safes with its own van and flatbed trailer, so the heavy lifting is part of the job you call them for.
